Description:
The active ingredients are thiamine nitrate (250.00 mg), pyridoxine hydrochloride (50.00 mg). Other components are: microcrystalline cellulose, colloidal anhydrous silica, stearic acid, magnesium stearate, hypromellose, cochineal red A (E124), titanium dioxide (E171), glycerol, and carnauba wax.
The excipient of note is cochineal red aluminium lake A (E124).
DOSAGE:
The recommended dose is 1 to 3 tablets per day to be swallowed with a little water
The treatment should not exceed four weeks without medical advice
Be careful when taking it for a long time or in high doses, neurological manifestations such as drowsiness and/or paresthesia have been reported, they are reversible but a symptomatic treatment should be considered. You should consult your doctor if you have taken more than you should have
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
Do not take Princi B if you are allergic to thiamine nitrate (vitamin B1), or pyridoxine hydrochloride (vitamin B6) or any of the other components contained in this medication, it contains in particular an azoic colouring agent (E124) which is allergenic
Princi B is contraindicated with levodopa. Due to the presence of pyridoxine, the combination with levodopa may reduce the activity of L-Dopa.
If you are pregnant or nursing, it is best to tell your doctor or pharmacist before taking any medication. It is best not to use this medication during pregnancy or while breast-feeding.
