Description:
Its active ingredients are rhubarb (purified, soda-hydroalcoholic dry extract of root drawing 0.43 - 0.53% anthraquinone derivatives) dosed at 5.0 g, and salicylic acid, dosed at 1.0 g, per 100 g of gel
Other components of its formula are 96% ethanol, glycerol, trolamine, carbomer (carbopol 2984), sodium saccharin, and purified water
DOSAGE:
This mouth ulcer gel is reserved for adults and children over 6 years of age, due to its high alcohol content
The usual recommended dosage is 2 to 4 applications per day, especially before bedtime.
The gel is applied to the lesion with a light massage. The teeth or mouth should not be rinsed immediately after application
In all cases, it is important to follow the medical prescription provided
The duration of treatment will not exceed a few days without medical advice
CONTRAINDICATIONS :
This medication should not be used in subjects known to be allergic to drugs containing salicylates such as aspirin for example, or in children under 6 years
Caution: Pyralvex mouth and gum gel contains 30% alcohol.
If you notice an extension of the lesions and/or an appearance of fever, it is necessary to consult your doctor immediately.
Tell your doctor about any other medication you have recently or are currently taking, even if it was obtained without a prescription
It is not advisable to use other oral and gingival medications simultaneously or successively, because of possible drug interference (inactivation, antagonism)
The presence of rhubarb extract in Pyralvex Buccal and Gingival Gel may result in irreversible yellow discoloration of transparent braces and some dental ceramics
