FRONTLINE Combo Dog L is a drug in the form of pipettes that are used by skin application on large dogs weighing between 20 and 40 kg. This medicine is used against infestations by fleas alone or mixed infestations by fleas and ticks and/or chewing lice.

  • Target species: dogs
  • 1 pipette FRONTLINE Combo Dog L of 2.68 ml for cutaneous application on dogs weighing between 20 and 40 kg from 8 weeks.
  • Treatment of flea infestation (Ctenocephalides spp.). Insecticidal efficacy against new adult flea infestations persists for 8 weeks. Prevention of flea multiplication by inhibiting the development of eggs (ovicidal activity) and larvae and pupae (larvicidal activity) from the eggs laid by adult fleas for 8 weeks after application.
  • Treatment of infestation by ticks (Ixodes ricinus, Dermacentor variabilis, Dermacentor reticulatus, Rhipicephalus sanguineus). The product has an acaricidal efficacy against ticks that lasts up to 4 weeks.
  • Treatment of chewing lice infestation (Trichodectes canis).
  • The drug can be integrated into a therapeutic program of Allergic Dermatitis by Flea Bites (ADBF), after diagnosis by the veterinarian.
  • FRONTLINE Combo can be used during pregnancy and lactation.
  • Packaging:
    • Box of 1 blister pack of 4 pipettes with breakable tip of 2.68 ml
    • Box of 2 blister packs of 3 x 2.68 ml scored pipettes

Contraindications:

  • In the absence of available data, do not treat puppies under 8 weeks of age.
  • Do not use in sick (systemic diseases, fever.) or convalescent animals.
  • Do not use in rabbits, as sometimes lethal side effects may occur. In the absence of studies, the use of the product is not recommended for non-target species. This product has been specially developed for dogs Do not use in cats and ferrets as this may lead to overdose.

Adverse reactions (frequency and severity):

  • Among the very rarely suspected side effects, transient skin reactions at the application site (skin discoloration, hair loss, itching, localized redness) and generalized itching or hair loss have been reported. Excessive salivation, reversible nervous signs (increased sensitivity to stimulation, depression, other nervous signs), or vomiting have also been observed after use.
  • In case of licking, a brief period of excessive salivation due mainly to the nature of the excipient may be observed.
  • Do not overdose.
