What is the intestinal flora?
The intestinal flora is made up of one hundred thousand billion bacteria, naturally present in the intestine.
It is essential for the proper functioning of the intestine and protects against the multiplication of unfriendly bacteria.
This ecosystem is fragile and many factors can cause imbalances in the intestinal flora and lead to digestive disorders:
- infection by viruses or bacteria
- medical treatments (antibiotics, irritating laxatives, chemotherapy, etc.)
- changes in transit,
- unbalanced diet, etc.
What are the properties of lactobacillus rhamnosus GG?
Probiolog® Child-Infant contains a strain of live bacteria, Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG, naturally present in the intestinal flora.
Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG (ATCC 53103) is one of the most clinically studied strains.
