Rubozinc 15 mg is a drug based on the trace element zinc, indicated in the treatment of inflammatory acne of minor and moderate severity and acrodermatitis enteropathica.
In one capsule of Rubozinc, there is 104.55 mg of zinc gluconate, a corresponding amount of zinc of 15 mg.
The other components are wheat starch, colloidal silica hydrate, magnesium stearate, lactose.
Capsule shell composition: gelatin, titanium dioxide.
In the treatment of acne, the dose of Rubozinc is 2 capsules to be taken in a single dose, in the morning on an empty stomach or between meals with a glass of water. This treatment is started at this dosage for 3 months and then reduced to 1 capsule per day
Rubozinc 15 mg, capsule can be used during sun exposure.
In case of acrodermatitis enteropathic, until puberty, the dosage is 1 capsule, then increased to 2 capsules daily.
Rubozinc contains wheat, so it is contraindicated in case of allergy to wheat, but also in case of certain intolerances to sugars
For optimal effectiveness of the drug Rubozinc 15 mg, it must be taken on an empty stomach, or away from meals. Rubozinc can be administered in case of celiac disease but is not recommended for patients with galactose intolerance, Lapp lactose deficiency or glucose or galactose malabsorption syndrome (rare hereditary diseases).
