Description:

Effizinc 15 mg is indicated for the treatment of inflammatory acne (both minor and moderate severity), and acrodermatitis enteropathica. Its active ingredient is zinc (zinc gluconate), dosed at 15 mg for one Effizinc capsule.

HOW TO TAKE EFFIZINC 15 MG?

The dosage for Effizinc 15 mg should be adapted according to the pathology you wish to treat:

For cases of inflammatory acne: the generally recommended daily dosage is 2 capsules (i.e. 30 mg of zinc) in a single dose. This dosage of 2 capsules per day should be maintained for 3 months, then reduced to 1 capsule per day.
To treat acrodermatitis enteropathica: until the onset of puberty, the dosage should be 1 capsule per day (the treatment should be strictly observed to avoid relapses). When puberty occurs, it may be necessary to increase the dose to 2 capsules per day. After this growth phase, it is possible to return to 1 capsule of Effizinc 15 mg per day, subject to monitoring of plasma zinc levels.

Effizinc 15 mg capsules are for oral use only. They should be swallowed with a large glass of water, away from meals (more than 2 hours if possible).
