The right gestures to adopt for the intimate hygiene of a little girl

A little girl should be washed (or wash herself, like a grown-up!) at least once a day. This is especially important after swimming or swimming in the sea, but also in case of digestive problems.

To reduce the risk of infection and ensure your little girl's well-being, it is recommended that you follow a few simple rules of intimate hygiene:

In the bathroom:

• Always wash your hands before and after

In the bath:

• Shower rather than bathe. The latter tends to promote maceration and thus increase the risk of irritation. In all cases, avoid using a washcloth, which is a veritable nest of germs
• Dry your child's intimate area carefully by dabbing it gently with a clean towel. Avoid rubbing.
• For intimate hygiene, use a suitable gentle cleanser (without soap, with a moisturising agent, etc.).

For clothing

• Change her panties every day, or even every time she gets them dirty.
• Choose cotton underwear.
