Instructions for Use:
Apply to skin that has been cleaned, disinfected, rinsed, and dried. After using an antiseptic, rinse with saline solution. Carefully dry the wound and the surrounding area before applying Urgosyval. The bandage tears easily so you can adjust the length of the strip to suit your needs. Urgosyval is designed to adhere to healthy skin. Do not apply the bandage directly to damaged skin or mucous membranes.
Remove gently and replace on average every 24 hours, or as directed.
Precautions/Contraindications:
The presence of oils, moisture, or body hair may impair adhesion. To avoid any risk of irritation or delayed healing, do not apply more than twice a day. Urgosyval is not suitable for securing or holding wet materials or catheters (hematology, intensive care, incubators). When applying, do not create tension on the skin or the adhesive bandage (risk of irritation, tourniquet effect). To maintain optimal healing conditions, replace the adhesive bandage if it becomes wet. Replace it if it loses its adhesive properties. Do not use Urgosyval for more than 30 consecutive days. Do not sterilize or subject Urgosyval to any treatment before use.
Side Effects:
This adhesive bandage may cause skin reactions such as redness, irritation, dermatitis, or pain upon removal, particularly on dry or damaged skin. If you experience a local reaction or itching, stop using the product and consult your healthcare provider. To minimize the risk of infection or skin reactions: strictly follow the instructions for use.
Do not reuse a used adhesive bandage.
Do not apply to the eyes or mucous membranes.
Do not use after the expiration date.
Do not use a damaged product.
Rigid, micro-ventilated fabric.
