Eczema is a common skin disease that can affect babies, children and adults alike. It is characterized by the appearance of skin lesions (redness, blisters and crusts) that develop in flare-ups and by a great dryness of the skin. Pain and itching, sometimes intense, can disrupt the daily lives of eczema sufferers.
There are different forms of eczema, the three main ones being
- Atopic eczema or atopic dermatitis: the most common skin condition in children. It can affect all areas of the body, often the face, the folds of the legs and arms, the hands, in symmetry. The itching and pain caused are often the cause of sleep disorders
- Contact eczema: also very common, it can be allergic (skin contact with nickel, jewellery, perfume, cosmetic preservatives, etc.) or irritant (skin contact with household products, detergents, chemicals, etc.)
- Chronic hand eczema can have multiple origins: atopic, allergic and/or irritant. It is considered to be one of the most frequent occupational pathologies. The professions most affected are those in the metal industry, hairdressing, construction and food processing. The skin is rough, irritated, very dry and sometimes even cracked. To treat eczema, whatever it is, two objectives are essential: to calm the inflammation and pain, and to soothe the dryness of the skin.

Apply 1 to 2 times a day directly to inflammatory eczema lesions (face and body).
Can be used alone or in combination with dermocorticoids in children aged 3 months and over. Do not apply to the breech area of children in diapers, or to mucous membranes. Do not use on pregnant or breast-feeding women.
