Description:
Chemotherapy can make the skin dry by altering the proper functioning of its cells. It also causes a reduction in sebum production. As a result, the skin is poorly protected, becomes dry and uncomfortable. This is called xerosis. Chemo can also, by impacting certain blood vessels, cause hand-foot syndrome, characterized by a sensation of overheating. Finally, diabetes can also cause skin dryness: when the disease is not properly controlled, in a situation of hyperglycemia, the body tries to evacuate glucose via the urine. In doing so, it draws water from the body and dehydrates the skin.
For all these situations, Bioderma has developed Atoderm Palmakera Smoothing Care. It provides the skin with moisturizing glycerin and emollient mango seed butter. In addition, it is formulated with urea, an active ingredient with keratolytic properties, i.e. it helps to eliminate scales and thicken the skin. Finally, enoxolone relieves the heat felt during hand-foot syndrome and antalgicine reduces skin discomfort
The formula is unscented and has a very good tolerance, further enhanced by the presence of rhamnose, xylitol and mannitol

Directions for use:
Apply at least twice a day to the affected areas. These must be cleaned beforehand with gentle hygiene
