Gel-based, the thermal pouch can be used hot or cold. The ThermCool & Hot gel pouch is a thermal cushion that helps relieve pain through thermotherapy, i.e. hot or cold as required. It's an easy-to-use, reusable accessory.
It can be reused.
The dental gel pouch is indicated for :

- Oral surgical procedures

COLD :
INDICATIONS:
Helps reduce swelling, inflammation and pain.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
FREEZER
1. Freeze gel pouch for at least 1 hour.
2. Remove the gel pack from the freezer.
Check that the temperature of the gel pouch is comfortable, then apply it to the affected area, after putting it back into the pouch provided for ease of use.
3. After use, gel packs are best stored at room temperature.
They can also be stored in the freezer.
HOT
INDICATIONS :
Helps reduce pain, soothes and relaxes.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
MICROWAVE (500 W)
1. Make sure both gel packs are at room temperature before heating.
2. Lay the two gel packs flat in the microwave. Heat at full power for 30 seconds (based on 500W microwave).
3. Carefully remove the two gel packs from the microwave and check the desired temperature for comfort. The temperature will continue to rise slightly.
If additional heat is required, return the gel packs to the microwave and heat for a further 5 seconds, not exceeding a total of 65 seconds. Keep an eye on the gel packs during heating, as overheating can cause the gel packs to rupture, leak or burn.
1. Knead the gel pockets well to distribute the heat evenly.
2. If the temperature is acceptable, place both gel packs in the cover and apply to the affected area. If the gel packs are too hot, remove them and reapply when the temperature is acceptable.
3. If further heating is required, repeat steps 1 to 5.
4. Store at room temperature for future use in warm therapy.
5. Do not apply hot therapy for more than 20 consecutive minutes.
WARNING
Use this product only as directed. Monitor the gel pack during heating.
If it starts to swell, turn off the microwave.
