Eductyl is an over-the-counter constipation medication. This laxative for adults is a laxative that comes in the form of effervescent suppositories to be administered rectally.

Transipeg 2.95 g powder packets are used to reconstitute a lemon-flavoured drinking solution. This non-prescription medication belongs to the family of osmotic laxatives.
Osmotic laxatives are medications for constipation that help retain water in the intestine and thus change the consistency of stools to make them easier to pass
Transipeg 2.95 g is for adults only, its active ingredient is macrogol. Its excipients are sodium chloride, anhydrous sodium sulphate (E 514), potassium chloride (E 508), sodium bicarbonate (E 500), aspartam (E 951), acesulfame potassium, lemon flavour (maltodextrin, sucrose, lemon flavour, gum arabic (E414), lecithin (E322) and silicon dioxide (E 551).
The recommended dose is 1 to 4 sachets taken as a single dose in the morning. The average dose is 2 sachets per day.
The powder should be dissolved in a glass of water and drunk immediately. The laxative effect is obtained after 24 to 48 hours.
If there is no improvement after 2 weeks of treatment, you should consult your doctor. Or if you notice the appearance of a fever or vomiting.
Constipation should also lead you to change your eating habits: eat more fiber, green vegetables, fruit, drink more water.
Do not take this medicine for constipation if you are allergic to any of its components. If you have a bowel or colon disease (Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis), if you have intestinal perforation, toxic megacolon, risk of obstruction, stomach pain, phenylketonuria (presence of aspartam).
Each bag of Transipeg 2.95 g contains 145 mg of sodium: in case of a salt-free diet, this must be taken into account. Also note the presence of 40 mg of potassium: to be taken into account in case of renal insufficiency or a controlled potassium diet.
This laxative will be used during pregnancy on medical advice but can be taken during pregnancy.
