WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF COLOURING?

THERE ARE 3 MAIN TYPES OF COLOURING.

- The first is direct or fleeting colouring. It allows you to give highlights to your natural colour. It is done without oxidation and will fade after about 4 shampoos.

- The second is a colouring that we call Semi-permanent. This colouring contains oxidants but is free of ammonia. It is fixed on the keratin of the hair and is more effective than direct colouring. Ideal for those who want to hide a few white hairs!

- Finally, those who wish to change their hair colour completely, will prefer permanent colouring or oxidation colouring. It contains ammonia, dyes and oxidants. Be careful, although this solution is the most effective, it is also the one that weakens and deteriorates the hair more, which then becomes more sensitive to external aggressions. If you opt for permanent colouring, pay particular attention to the care of the hair

COLOURED HAIR REQUIRES SPECIAL ATTENTION.

In order to preserve your colouring as much as possible, Mon Pharmacien conseil has selected top-of-the-range products specially adapted to coloured hair. The recommended shampoos contain fixing and repairing agents that perfectly fix the colour and prevent it from fading over time.

Don't forget to alternate with another shampoo from time to time. Moisturizing colored hair is essential!

The use of a conditioner after each shampoo is therefore highly recommended to nourish the hair in depth.

If you choose a mask, choose one for colored hair that will rehydrate it perfectly.

For optimal care, leave the mask on for at least 5 minutes.

In case of prolonged exposure to the sun, protect your colored hair with a gel or an oil and apply a conditioner after each wash.

Last advice to take care of your colored hair, avoid straightening or curling irons and shampoos with a too acid pH.
