Start by taking 1 sachet (3 g), then take 1 additional sachet after each new unformed stool, without exceeding the maximum dosage of 6 sachets per day.
In the absence of medical advice, treatment should not exceed 3 days.
To take orally, simply knead the sachet between your fingers before opening it, then swallow the contents, pure or diluted in a little water.
Precautions for use of Smectalia lemon mint against diarrhoea
Smectalia Lemon Mint should not be used if diarrhea is accompanied by high fever, chills or repeated vomiting.
The same applies if:
Stools contain mucus and/or blood, if your diarrhea is accompanied by sudden weight loss (+ 2 kg),
Diarrhea occurs during or after antibiotic treatment,
The subject has a vulnerable background: known heart valve disease, treatment that reduces your body's immune defenses, or
After a recent trip to a tropical country.

Smectalia should only be used during pregnancy or while breast-feeding on the advice of your doctor.
