Properties, Indications

Ultra-Baby is intended for children from birth, in case of acute diarrhoea, including when taking antibiotics.

Directions for use

1 to 2 sticks per day.

Ultra-Baby is to be mixed in a drink (milk, water) or a food adapted to the child (compote, yoghurt, small pot). If you are bottle-feeding, allow the bottle to cool before pouring in the contents of the stick. Ultra-Baby can be mixed with oral rehydration solutions.

Precautions for use

Ultra-Baby should be used under medical supervision. It is intended for infants and young children. It should not be used as the sole source of nutrition. It is intended to be used in addition to food or oral rehydration solutions.

Consult a doctor or pharmacist if the situation does not improve within 48 hours.

It is recommended not to open the sticks in the environment of patients with a central venous catheter, in order to avoid any colonisation, particularly of the catheter.

Indeed, very rare cases of fungemia have been observed in these individuals. Nevertheless, in all cases, these incidents have evolved favorably after administration of antifungal treatment and, if necessary, after removal of the catheter.

Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients.
