PHLOROGLUCINOL VIATRIS belongs to a class of drugs known as antispasmodics. It acts against spasms (contractions).
It is indicated in adults for the treatment of spasmodic pain of the intestine, biliary tract, bladder and uterus.

Symptomatic treatment of pain associated with functional disorders of the digestive tract and biliary tract. - Treatment of acute spasmodic and painful manifestations of the urinary tract: renal colic. - Symptomatic treatment of painful spasmodic manifestations in gynecology. - Adjuvant treatment of contractions during pregnancy, in association with rest.
Phloroglucinol is a symptomatic treatment. If symptoms persist, the patient's condition should be reassessed. For adults only.
The usual dose is 1 orodispersible tablet, to be taken at the time of the attack, and repeated in the event of severe spasms, with a minimum interval of 2 hours between each dose, not to exceed 3 orodispersible tablets per day.
