Chlorhexidine Chlorobutanol 0.5ml/0.5g Sandoz Mouthwash isa dilutable antiseptic solution recommended as an adjunctive local treatment of oral cavity disorders and during post-operative care in odontostomatology:
- daily oral care to prevent and fight against dental plaque.
- mouth infection, gingivitis, stomatitis, periodontitis and pyorrhea.
- painful mouth ulcers and other oral candidiasis (fungal infection).
- disinfection in case of oral surgery.
Very convenient to use with its measuring cup, Chlorhexidine Chlorobutanol 0.5ml/0.5g Sandoz Mouthwash isan oral hygiene care reserved for adults and children over 6 years.
Directions for use
- Usual dosage of Chlorhexidine Chlorobutanol 0.5ml/0.5g Sandoz Mouthwash 10 to 15 ml of solution twice a day (to be diluted in the measuring cup by filling up to the upper line with warm water): perform the mouthwash until the measuring cup is exhausted.
- If necessary, this dosage can be increased to 3 times a day, knowing that the maximum dose is 20 ml (to be diluted), 3 times a day.
- Brush your teeth before each use and rinse your mouth thoroughly with water before using Chlorhexidine Chlorobutanol 0.5ml/0.5g Sandoz Mouthwash.
- The duration of treatment may be 2 weeks in gingival inflammation and parondontitis. The duration of treatment may be extended beyond 2 weeks only on medical advice.

Composition of Chlorhexidine Chlorobutanol 0.5ml/0.5g Sandoz Mouthwash :
Chlorhexidine digluconate solution 0.5ml/100ml, Chlorobutanol hemihydrate 0.5g/100ml. Excipients: Docusate sodium, Glycerol, Ethanol 96%, Purified water, Levomenthol, Mint flavour, Cochineal red A (E 124).
Excipients : Cochineal red (E124), alcohol - Alcoholic strength : 42,8% (v/v).
