BELLOC COAL 60 CAPSULES

Belloc charcoal 125 mg, softgel

The active substance is activated charcoal.

The other ingredients are soya oil, yellow beeswax, soya lecithin, glycerol and gelatine.

Dosage

For adults and children over 6 years of age only.

2 capsules, 2 to 3 times a day

If you feel that the effect of this medicine is too strong or too weak, consult your doctor or pharmacist.

Take by mouth

Swallow the capsule as is with a glass of water.

If you forget to take belloc charcoal 125 mg, soft capsule: do not take a double dose to make up for the single dose you forgot to take.

Belloc's charcoal should not be used if you have a known allergy to any of the ingredients.

Take special precautions with this medication:

• In case of bloating, flatulence, avoid dried vegetables (lentils, flageolets, peas ...), some green vegetables (cabbage, brussels sprouts, chard ...)
• In case of associated diarrhea, it is necessary to :
  • rehydrate with abundant drinks, salted or sweetened, in order to compensate for the loss of liquid due to diarrhoea (the average daily water intake of an adult is 2 litres)
  • Eat during the diarrhoea, excluding certain foods and particularly raw vegetables, fruits, green vegetables, spicy dishes, as well as iced foods or drinks, favouring grilled meats and rice.

Pregnancy

This medication should be used during pregnancy only on the advice of your doctor. If you discover that you are pregnant during treatment, consult your doctor, as only he or she can decide whether or not to continue the treatment.

List of excipients with a known effect

Glycerol: As this medicine may reduce the absorption of other medicines, they should be administered at a distance from it (more than 2 hours, if possible).
