Description:
In one sucking tablet:
Amount corresponding to cholecalciferol............400 IU
Calcium carbonate......................................1250mg
Amount corresponding to calcium element.........500mg
The other components are: povidone, aspartam, mint flavour*, talc, magnesium stearate, xylitol
*composition of the mint flavouring: 25 per cent peppermint essential oil on a gum arabic base, maltodextrin and sorbitol.
DOSAGE OF CALPEROS D3 :
The dosage of Calperos D3 is 2 tablets per day for adults.
After sucking the tablet, it is recommended to take a glass of water.
If you take too much Calperos D3, you may experience nausea, vomiting, intense thirst and constipation. Tell your doctor, who may or may not adjust the dosage of the treatment. If the overdose is prolonged, there is a risk of calcifications appearing in the vessels and tissues.
CONTRAINDICATIONS OF CALPEROS D3 :
Calperos D3 is contraindicated in cases of allergy to vitamin D or to one of its constituents, an abnormally high quantity of calcium in the blood, exaggerated elimination of calcium through the urine, kidney stones, prolonged immobilisation accompanied by hypercalciuria and/or hypercalcaemia, or in cases of phenylketonuria due to the presence of aspartam. Precautions should be taken in particular during prolonged treatment or additional administration of calcium and vitamin D, where the quantity of calcium eliminated in the urine (calciuria) should be checked regularly
Finally, people suffering from sarcoidosis or renal insufficiency should contact their doctor.
In the event of treatment with biphosphonates and antibiotics of the cyclin family, an interval of at least 2 hours is necessary between the latter and Calperos D3. If you are taking digitalis, medical supervision is necessary.
Calperos D3 can be taken during pregnancy, with 1500 mg of calcium and 600 IU of vitamin D per day, i.e. one tablet per day.
