Dosage:
In adults, the usual dosage is 2 sachets per day in a single dose for constipation
In children aged 7 to 14 years, this intake will be reduced to 1 sachet per day.
This treatment should not exceed 8 days without medical advice.
As part of the treatment of hepatic encephalopathy, it will be necessary to find the dose that allows 2 soft stools per day. For this, 1 to 2 sachets of Importal 10g can be taken 2 to 3 times a day.
The Importal sachets should be diluted in a glass of water before swallowing.
Contraindications:
This laxative medicine can be used in pregnant or breastfeeding women except in case of galactosemia in breastfed infants.
Importal 10g should not be used in case of allergy to lactitol, in case of Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, risk of perforation or intestinal obstruction, in case of unexplained abdominal pain, in case of pre-existing hydro-electrolytic disorder.
Importal sachets should not be taken by people with fructose, glucose and galactose intolerance.
Laxatives must be taken at a distance (2 hours) from other medicines.
