Dosage:
From 12 years, it is advised to take 1 to 1.5 tablets to be swallowed with a glass of water half an hour before departure and to renew if necessary after 6 hours, without exceeding 6 tablets per day.
Children from 6 to 12 years old can take 1 tablet 1/2 hour before departure and repeat if necessary after 6 hours, without exceeding 4 tablets per day.
Children 2 to 6 years old may take 1/2 crushed tablet diluted in a glass of water 1/2 hour before departure to be repeated if needed after 6 hours, not to exceed 4 crushed half tablets per day.
Contraindications:
Nautamine is contraindicated in case of:
- allergy to the active substance or to any of the other components of this medication
- some forms of glaucoma
- difficulty to urinate due to prostate or other problems,
- known allergy to antihistamines,
Do not give to breast-feeding women or to persons taking enoxacin, except on medical advice.
Elderly people should seek the advice of their doctor before taking Nautamine if they are prone to constipation, orthostatic hypotension, dizziness, drowsiness, or if they have prostate problems.
If you have liver or kidney disease, consult your doctor who can adjust the dosage.
Be careful, this medication can cause severe drowsiness, and alcohol should not be taken at the same time.
If you are taking other medicines at the same time or if you have recently taken any, please inform your doctor or pharmacist. This will also help to avoid overdose.
