Indications:

Phloroglucinol Mylan 80 mg is an antispasmodic drug which fights against the painful contractions of the intestine, the biliary tracts, urinary and the uterus. It thus takes care of spasms of digestive origin (spasmodic colitis), bilious (hepatic colic), urological (renal colic) and gynecological (menstruation and contractions during pregnancy)

Description:

One orodispersible tablet contains 80 mg of phloroglucinol

Other components are lactose monohydrate, microcrystalline cellulose, crospovidone, povidone K90, magnesium stearate and aspartam (E951).

DOSAGE:

In adults, the dosage of Phloroglucinol Mylan 80 mg is 2 tablets, to be taken at the time of the crisis, to be repeated in case of severe spasms, at a rate of 2 tablets 3 times a day. A minimum interval of 2 hours must be observed between each dose and not more than 6 tablets should be taken in 24 hours

The tablets should be left to melt under the tongue for a rapid effect or dissolved in a glass of water before ingestion.

In children over 2 years of age, the dosage is 1 tablet when taken. In the event of important spasms, it is possible to renew the catch, by respecting an interval of 2 h between the catches. Do not exceed 2 tablets per 24 hours. The tablets must be dissolved in a glass of water.

CONTRA-INDICATIONS :

In case of known allergy to phloroglucinol or to one of the other components and in case of phenylketonuria (hereditary disease detected at birth), due to the presence of aspartam, Phloroglucinol is contraindicated.

In patients with galactose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency or glucose or galactose malabsorption syndrome (rare hereditary diseases), the use of Phloroglucinol 80 mg is not recommended.
