Description Oxomemazine Sandoz dry cough syrup without sugar 150 ml
Oxomemazine is an antihistamine medication recommended to calm dry coughs and coughs of irritation in adults and children over 2 years old, especially when they occur in the evening or at night.
This medicine is not suitable for treating wet coughs.
Cough is a symptom that can indicate many diseases, consult your doctor if it persists for more than a few days.
Dosage Oxomemazine Sandoz dry cough syrup without sugar 150 ml
Adults or children over 40 kg (12 years): 10 ml per dose, 4 times a day.
Children 13 to 20 kg (2 to 6 years): 5 ml per dose, 2 to 3 times a day.
Children from 20 to 30 kg (6 to 10 years): 10 ml per dose, 2 to 3 times a day
Children from 30 to 40 kg (10 to 12 years old): 10 ml per dose, 3 to 4 times a day.
To space the catches of at least 4 hours minimum.

Oxomemazine, like other antihistamines, may cause photosensitization reactions: avoid exposure to the sun during treatment.
This medication may induce drowsiness, sometimes intense in some people.
This drowsiness may be increased by taking alcohol or other sedative drugs.
Driving is not recommended, especially in the hours following the intake of the medication.
Composition
drinkable solution sweetened with acesulfame potassium
Composition for 100 ml of drinkable solution: oxomemazine 0,033 g
The excipient contains maltilol
Contra-indications
Children of less than 2 years, allergy to one of the constituents, urethroprostatic disorders, acute glaucoma, antecedents of agranulocytosis, pregnancy, breast feeding, fatty cough. Avoid taking alcohol.
