Description: The biological aging of the eye contour area is mainly due to glycation, a phenomenon that occurs when excess sugar molecules cling to collagen and elastin fibers. By "caramelizing" them, they stiffen them and cause chemical reactions. This results in the formation of "Advanced Glycation Endproducts" (AGEs) which reduce the regenerative capacity of the fibres and are the cause of deep wrinkles.
