This medicine is a venotonic and a vascular protector. It stimulates blood circulation in the veins.
It is used in the treatment of
heavy legs related to poor venous or lymphatic circulation
attacks of hemorrhoids.
Active substance: Diosmin
Common excipients: Microcrystalline cellulose, Red iron oxide, Hypromellose, Lactose monohydrate, Macrogol 4000, Magnesium stearate, Povidone K 25, Colloidal anhydrous silica, Sodium carboxymethyl starch, Titanium dioxide
Other excipients (specific to certain forms): Iron black oxide, Opadry II 31F34851, Opadry II 31F34852, Cochineal red A
Usual dosage :
Venous insufficiency: 1 x 300 mg tablet, midday and evening or 1 x 600 mg tablet, morning before breakfast.
Hemorrhoidal crisis: 4 to 6 tablets at 300 mg per day or 2 to 3 tablets at 600 mg per day. The duration of treatment should not exceed 5 days without medical advice.
