Optinooz Nasal Irrigator 2 Syringes is a nasal irrigator that allows the nasal passages to flow freely in order to eliminate allergens, irritants, bacteria, viruses and other contaminants while hydrating baby's nasal cavities. Regular cleaning improves breathing, sleep and appetite.
BPA-free, phthalate-free.
Directions for use Optinooz Nasal Irrigator 2 Syringes
1- Clean your hands then wash the syringe and the silicone tip.
2- Fill the syringe with a saline solution or a physiological serum.
3- Attach the nasal silicone tip to the syringe.
4- Place the child in a sitting position. Older children can bend over the sink or basin. Gently introduce the solution into one nostril.
5- Repeat this step in the other nostril.
6- Gently wipe baby's nose. If the child is older, encourage him to blow his nose gently.
Cleaning the nasal cavities (to be validated by a health professional): It is recommended to use a sterile saline solution (0.9% sodium chloride) or a physiological serum. Conventional water is strongly discouraged as it can cause pain and damage to the nasal mucosa. Volumes of saline solution per nostril:
Between 4 and 6 months: 10 to 15 ml.
Between 6 and 12 months: 20 ml.
Between 12 and 24 months: 20 ml.
From 24 months: 20 to 30 ml.
Frequency:
- 1 to 2 times a day as a preventive measure.
- 3 to 6 times a day in case of nasal congestion.
Keep out of reach of children.
