Vismed is recommended for moderate and severe dry eye conditions.

Vismed contains sodium hyaluronate, a natural polymer also present in the structures of the human eye. The special physical characteristics of sodium hyaluronate allow it to bind to a very large number of water molecules. These physical characteristics give Vismed a unique viscoelasticity. Thus, it ensures the formation of a uniform film on the surface of the eye that resists the natural process of elimination by the fluttering of the eyelids.

Vismed therefore guarantees maximum and prolonged comfort. It does not contain any preservatives and is very well tolerated.


Ingredients: 1 ml of solution contains 1.8 mg of sodium hyaluronate; sodium chloride, potassium chloride, magnesium chloride, calcium chloride, disodium hydrogen phosphate, sodium citrate, water for injection. The solution is hypoyonic.


Directions for use:
- Twist and detach the top part to open.
- Put 1 to 2 drops of Vismed in the conjunctival sac as often as necessary or as prescribed by the doctor.
- A few blinks will ensure an even distribution of the solution on the ocular surface in a transparent and durable film.
- Vismed can be used while wearing contact lenses of any type (rigid or soft).


Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to any of the product's components.


Special warn ings: Do not administer Vismed at the same time as other medicines or ophthalmic products as it may modify their effects.


Precautions:
- Do not touch the open part of the unit-dose container with your fingers and avoid putting it directly in contact with the eye.
- Do not use Vismed if the unit-dose container is damaged.
- As Vismed does not contain a preservative, do not use the contents of the container after opening.
- Store between 2° and 25°C.
- Do not use Vismed after the expiry date indicated on the box.
- If the problems persist during the use of Vismed or after stopping the treatment, consult a doctor.
- Keep out of the reach of children.
