FreeStyle Libre SELECT Sensor is the smallest and most discreet sensor to date, worn on the back of the upper arm and continuously measuring the concentration of glucose in the body's interstitial fluid. Measurements are taken day and night, and sent in real time every minute to the FreeStyle Libre 3 smartphone app, so there's no need to prick yourself several times a day to keep track of your blood glucose levels.

The sensor is also water-resistant, so it can be worn in the bath, pool or shower.

Installation

Clean skin to improve sensor adhesion. Shave if necessary. Do not use greasy substances (e.g. body lotion, moisturizing cream) where you apply the sensor.

Disinfect with absorbent cotton or a non-woven compress impregnated with 70° alcohol to remove any oily residue on the skin.

Allow the skin to dry before fitting the sensor.

Attach the sensor to the back of the arm. A protective film can be applied over the sensor to prevent it from accidentally falling off.
