- Always perform the test on waking up with the first urine of the day.
- You should know your usual cycle length before you do the first test, to make sure that you test during your periods of high or optimum fertility.
- To calculate the length of your cycle, start from the first day of your period (Day 1) and continue to the day BEFORE the first day of your next period: the number obtained is the length of your cycle.
- Once you know your cycle length, use the following chart to find out which day you should do the first test:
- Remove the test stick from its package.
- Remove the cap from the test stick.
- Line up the purple arrow on the ovulation test stick with the arrow on the holder.
- Insert the test stick into the holder until it clicks into place
- Once the test stick is inserted correctly, the ovulation test is ready for use.
If you are using the holder for the first time, the "New Cycle" symbol will flash briefly.
