Description:

It is indicated in case of benign wrist sprains, wrist and thumb trauma, scaphoid fracture, wrist and thumb tendonitis, following carpal tunnel surgery, de Quervain's tenosynovitis, or arthrosis of the thumb, called rhizarthrosis

This brace offers a simplified and homogeneous adjustment thanks to its easy tightening system called Quick Lacing System. This system allows an easy and quick adaptation of the tightening according to the morphology, in all simplicity. In addition, the position of the thumb on the brace is adjustable for optimal adaptability

This Manurhizo splint is composed of 2 anatomic conformable stays, and a light and breathable micro-ventilated fabric for a better evacuation of moisture, guaranteeing more comfort

Finally, its protective jersey is soft, while the 3D knit has an antibacterial treatment

The Manurhizo Pro wrist-thumb splint by Thuasne is therefore indicated to consolidate weakened joints by ensuring rigorous support of the wrist and thumb, and thus provides relief by limiting painful movements.

When worn at night, this brace reduces muscle tension

Two models of the splint exist: Right or left.

Putting on the brace :

  • Loosen the lace before putting on the brace.
  • Position the brace properly and tighten with the "quick lacing system" to obtain the desired support.
  • Close the hook and loop without over tightening to avoid pressure points.

Maintenance :

  • Remove the whalebone before washing and close the hook and loop fastener of the brace.
  • Wash the brace in the washing machine at 30° on a delicate programme.
  • Do not use softeners, detergents or bleach.
  • Wring out by pressing and leave to dry in the open air, not in a tumble dryer.
