In case of mycosis of the toenails and fingernails (onychomycosis), Mycoster 8% is a film-forming solution for local application, with ciclopirox as the active substance, which penetrates the nail and destroys the fungi.

Components :

Active substance of the drug: ciclopirox (8 g per 100 g of film-forming solution).

Other components: copolymer of methylvinyl ether and monobutylester of maleic acid, ethyl acetate and isopropanol

Dosage of Mycoster 8% Ciclopirox varnish 3 ml film-forming solution

First of all, before starting the treatment of your nail fungus with Mycoster 8%, it is necessary to remove as much as possible the diseased tissues from the nail with scissors, nail clippers or a nail file.

Then the method of use is to apply the Mycoster solution to the entire surface of all diseased nails once a day, preferably in the evening

At least once a week, remove the nail polish layer with a nail polish remover. Then take care to remove as much of the diseased nail tips as possible.

Avoid using cosmetic nail polish

The duration of the treatment will depend on the severity of the nail infection, but it can be said that a minimum of 3 months of treatment is needed for hand nail fungus and no more than 6 months for toe fungus.

You should not use Mycoster 8% film-forming solution if you are allergic to ciclopirox or to any of the other components of this product or if you are under 18 years of age.

Mycoster should only be used topically. Regular nail polish or other nail cosmetics should not be applied to treated nails. Be careful not to get Mycoster 8% in your eyes or on your mucous membranes until it has dried. Do not swallow. If you have several nails requiring treatment or if you have diabetes or an immune disease, contact your doctor
