Chondrosulf is recommended for the treatment of pain and functional discomfort in osteoarthritis of the knee and hip. It contains chondroitin, a substance naturally present in bone cartilage. Chondrosulf helps alleviate joint pain and limitation of movement associated with cartilage wear. Chondrosulf 400mg is a slow-acting osteoarthritis drug, with a delayed onset of action of around 2 months. The effect of Chondrosulf cannot be assessed before around 2 months of treatment, and may persist after treatment has been discontinued. Regular physical activity adapted to your abilities is recommended to strengthen your muscles and maintain joint mobility.

Chondrosulf 400 mg osteoarthritis medication is recommended for curing and treating symptoms associated with osteoarthritis, particularly of the knee and hip. We strongly advise you to follow the dosage instructions given by your doctor or pharmacist, so that the product can work properly. Chondrosulf 400 mg capsules are specially designed for adults (over 15 years of age) and must be taken orally. Chondrosulf 400 mg capsules should be swallowed without chewing. Take 3 capsules (400 mg, i.e. 1200 mg) a day with a large glass of water at mealtimes. Take 3 times a day. The duration of treatment may vary according to the results observed, the comfort felt by the patient and a clinical examination. Bear in mind that the effect of the drug is delayed by at least 2 months.

Precautions for use, contraindications and side effects of Chondrosulf 400 mg capsule

This drug should not be used during pregnancy or while breast-feeding, unless your doctor advises otherwise. Chondrosulf 400 mg capsule should not be administered to subjects with a history of allergy to the product or any of its components. If you forget to take a dose, do not take a double dose to try to make up for the one you missed. Like all medicines, Chondrosulf 400 mg capsule may cause undesirable effects in some patients. Allergic skin reactions such as redness, urticaria, eczema or rash, whether or not associated with itching and/or oedema, may occur. Digestive disorders such as nausea, vomiting and dizziness may also occur during treatment. In all such cases, discontinue treatment immediately and inform your doctor or pharmacist.
