Hyalexo Expanscience Intra-Articular Injection Solution, 1 syringe, 2 mL is intended for the treatment of osteoarthritis.

Hyalexo Expanscience is a hyaluronic acid-based product containing 20 mg/2 mL, intended for administration via a three-injection intra-articular protocol. 

This hyaluronic acid injection is indicated to relieve pain in patients suffering from osteoarthritis or degenerative joint diseases that result in impaired functional properties of the synovial fluid. 

Intra-articular injection of Hyalexo Expanscience sodium hyaluronate helps restore the viscoelastic properties of synovial fluidto alleviate pain and improve joint mobility.

Hyaluronic acid—or sodium hyaluronate—is a polysaccharide naturally present in certain human tissues, such as cartilage. As the main component of synovial fluid, it confers its viscoelastic properties. A loss of viscosity in synovial fluid leads to pain; therefore, an intra-articular injection of sodium hyaluronate can restore the properties of the synovial fluid to alleviate pain and improve joint mobility.

Directions for Use: Hyalexo Expanscience Intra-articular Injection Solution, 1 syringe, 2 mL

Intra-articular injection of this product must be performed only by a physician trained in this technique.

Dosage: The recommended dose is one intra-articular injection per week for 3 weeks

Storage: Store at a temperature between 1°C and 30°C, away from direct sunlight. Do not freeze.

Composition of Hyalexo Expanscience Intra-Articular Injection Solution, 1 syringe, 2 mL

Active ingredient: 1% sodium hyaluronate (PE).

Other ingredients: sodium chloride, sodium hydrogen phosphate, sodium dihydrogen phosphate, and water for injection.
