Composition:

Sodium: 0,150 g

Boric acid: 1,000 g

Benzalkonium: 0.007 g

Isotonic saline perfumed at pH 7.3 q.s.p. 100 ml

Directions for use:

Irrigations: to carry away dust, pollen grains or foreign bodies deposited on the eye and to quickly rinse an irritating product on the eyeball or eyelids.

- To perform an irrigation, simply drip BIOPHTAL solution onto the inner corner of the eye by gently squeezing the body of the bottle.

- Compresses: when the eye is clogged with dry tears, gently remove these deposits with a compress soaked in BIOPHTAL.

- To soften and eliminate secretions forming crusts or pus, apply a gauze compress well soaked in BIOPHTAL to the eye 2 to 3 times a day, holding it for 1 or 2 minutes if possible. After a few minutes, the secretions are softened and easily removed.

Storage conditions

After use, screw the cap on tightly.

After opening, do not use beyond 28 days.

Precautions for use :

BIOPHTAL allows to clean eyes and eyelids without irritating.

- Always use lightly, without rubbing.

- Do not use cotton or cloth pads which may deposit irritating fibres in the eye.

VETERINARY EMERGENCY:

- If your pet's eye hurts, is closed, or has decreased visual acuity, consult your veterinarian promptly.

- In the case of severe and acute inflammation, a veterinarian should also be consulted.
