Ticks are vectors of Lyme disease or Lyme borreliosis. They tend to live in wooded and humid areas, tall grass in meadows, gardens and forest or urban parks.
Insect Ecran Anti-Tiques is a powerful body repellent.
It offers effective and immediate protection against ticks (Ixodes ricinus) and complies with the recommendations of health authorities.
It is also effective against mosquitoes Aedes aegypti, Aedes albopictus called "tiger mosquito", Anopheles gambiae, Culex pipens) and sandflies (Phlebotomus duboscqui).

The repellent action of Insect Ecran Anti-Tiques protects up to 14 hours* from ticks in temperate zones, vectors of Lyme disease and up to 16 hours* from mosquitoes and sandflies.

Insect Ecran Anti-Tiques prevents tick bites in temperate zones where they proliferate such as gardens, parks and wooded areas.
This spray is suitable for the whole family from 24 months and is also usable in pregnant women in areas at risk of vector-borne disease transmission.
(*) Effective up to 14 hours against ticks in temperate zones and up to 16 hours against mosquitoes and sandflies with 2 applications per day. Duration of effectiveness for 1 application: 7h against ticks in temperate zones, 8h against mosquitoes and sandflies.
Directions for use Insect Ecran Anti-Tiques Repulsive skin from 24 Months Temperate Zones 100ml
The spray Insect Ecran Anti-Tiques is applied to uncovered body areas (face, neck, hand).
Use in ventilated areas.
Shake the spray.
Pulverize in the palm of the hand before applying on the concerned zones.
Application rate: 0.4 mg/cm².
2 sprays are sufficient for a surface equivalent to an adult forearm.
Remarks:
The use in the pregnant woman must be restricted to the zones at the risk of transmission of vectorial diseases.
For children aged 2 to 12 years, long clothing is recommended and the repellent must be applied by an adult.
The duration of protection may be adversely affected by perspiration, humidity, friction, high temperatures, etc...
Withdraw in case of contact with water, without exceeding the maximum number of applications recommended.
In the event of application of a solar protection, to wait 20 minutes to apply the repellent.
Precautions for use :
External use.
General public use, not professional.
To respect the doses of application recommended.
Do not apply more than 2 times per day.
Not to apply to the mucous membranes and on a damaged skin (wound, sunstroke, disease of skin).
Not to use at the sensitive people (epileptics) or in the event of co-exposure with a convulsive product, because of the active substance contained in the product (DEET) which can induce a hyperexcitability.
Do not put hands to mouth after use.
Do not use the product before bathing or showering.
Avoid contact of treated skin with food.
Do not use the spray near foodstuffs or surfaces that may come into contact with products intended for human or animal consumption.
Avoid contact with plastics, synthetic fibres, leather, varnish, glasses, contact lenses and watch glasses.
In case of contact with eyes: if necessary, remove contact lenses. Rinse eyes with lukewarm water for about 10 minutes with eyes open, remembering to wash under the eyelids. If the eyes remain red 2 hours after washing, consult a doctor.
If skin lesions, redness or persistent pain appear after application of the product, consult a doctor.
If swallowed, risk of dizziness and loss of consciousness. Ingestion may lead to acute poisoning. Immediately contact the 15 (or 112) or a poison control center. Do not induce vomiting without medical advice.
If applying sun protection, wait 20 minutes before applying the repellent.
Keep out of reach of children.
Do not store for more than 6 months at 40°C.
