This medicine is indicated for the treatment of sensitive vaginal yeast mycoses (diseases caused by microscopic fungi).
It is recommended to complete the vaginal treatment by applying a 1% clotrimazole cream on the lesions.
For adults only.

MYCOHYDRALIN 3 TABLETS 200 MG CLOTRIMAZOLE VAGINAL WITH APPLICATOR
1 tablet to be placed at the bottom of the vagina 3 consecutive evenings.
If symptoms persist beyond 7 days, medical consultation is necessary.
Use without applicator
After thorough hand washing, insert the tablet deep into the vagina. The easiest way to do this is to lie on your back.
Use with applicator
Use the applicator to insert the tablet into the vagina, preferably in the evening
1 - Take the applicator out of its packaging and pull the plunger (A) as far as it will go. Take the tablet out of its blister pack and push it 1 cm into the applicator (B) so that the rounded part of the tablet is outside the applicator.
2 - Place the applicator at the entrance to the vaginal opening and insert it deep into the vagina, preferably in a lying position. The easiest way to do this is to lie on your back with your knees bent and spread apart.
3 - Hold the applicator in this position and press the plunger (A) so that the tablet is deposited in the vagina. Gently remove the applicator.
4 - After use, clean the applicator carefully with hot (not boiling) water. To do this, pull the shaft A completely out of the applicator B, past the stop.
Do not flush the applicator down the toilet.
MYCOHYDRALIN Tablet requires a minimum of local moisture to dissolve properly in the vagina. If the vagina is dry, the tablet may not dissolve properly. The tablet should be inserted deep into the vagina in a supine position.
The multiplication ofCandida is favoured by an acidic pH. In case of fungus, the use of acidic soaps is not recommended.
Vaginal douching should be avoided.
Data on the use of clotrimazole in pregnant women are limited.
Pharmacodynamic and toxicological data in animals have shown excretion of clotrimazole and its metabolites in milk.
As a precautionary measure, breastfeeding should be discontinued during treatment with clotrimazole.
