Description :

Why choose URGO Resistant Warts, pen?

URGO Resistant Warts Pen is an effective, precise and convenient method to remove the most stubborn warts at home.

  • EFFECTIVE : pen based on a powerful acid (TCA-Active™) that gives visible results from the 1st week.
  • PRECISE : allows a precise application thanks to its precision tip and its transparent applicator.
  • PRACTICAL : targets the area to be treated thanks to its bluish gel formula, which does not run.

Dosage

Children from 4 years: 1 application per day for 4 days
Adults: 2 applications per day for 4 days

Instructions for use

Before use, please read the instructions carefully. The URGO Resistant Warts pen contains a highly effective but corrosive gel. For external use on hands and feet only. If you are unsure whether your skin condition is a wart, please consult a physician before using this product.

Important notice : Protect the surrounding healthy skin before treatment by applying a thin layer of Vaseline around the wart. Be sure not to put any Vaseline on the wart, as this may minimize the effect of the treatment.

  1. To open the pen, turn the cap until the 2 red arrows align, then pull.
  2. When using for the first time, press the push button on the pen a number of times, with a 5 second interval between each press, until the blue gel appears in the transparent part of the applicator tip. One drop of gel (1 click) is sufficient for one application. If one drop does not completely cover the wart, apply another drop of gel to the wart, without touching the healthy skin.
  3. Hold the pen vertically with the applicator pointing downwards to allow the gel to reach the applicator tip.
  4. Carefully and strictly apply a single drop of gel to the wart. The blue gel makes it easy to identify where the gel is being applied.
  5. If the gel accidentally comes into contact with healthy skin, rinse thoroughly with clear water and soap to prevent irritation or burning of the healthy skin.
  6. After application, allow gel to dry for 10-15 minutes before putting on clothing or shoes.
  7. Repeat twice a day for 4 days. For children with small warts, apply once a day for 4 days.
  8. Wipe applicator well with a tissue to remove excess gel. Close the pen with the cap and make sure the red arrows are not aligned.
  9. During the treatment, the wart will become darker and the skin will form a crust. Depending on the size of the wart, it should disappear within 1 to 2 weeks after the end of the treatment, leaving a smoother, slightly pinkish skin tone that will return to its natural colour in the following weeks.
  10. Do not expose the treated area to the sun until the skin has returned to its natural colour.
  11. If the wart does not disappear completely, the treatment can be repeated after a break of 4 days. The treatment can be carried out up to a maximum of 4 times. If the wart has still not disappeared after the 4th time, please consult your doctor.

Precaution for use:

  • URGO Resistant Warts Pen contains a corrosive acid. It is important to apply this product to warts on HANDS and FEET ONLY.
  • If the gel comes into contact with healthy skin, rinse immediately with clean water and soap.
  • For external use only.
  • If this is your first time using the gel, apply to a single wart before treating multiple warts.
  • Do not expose the treated area of skin to the sun until it is completely healed. This process of skin renewal may take 4-6 weeks. Prolonged exposure to the sun may result in hypo- or hyper-pigmentation of the skin.
  • Do not touch the treated skin as warts are contagious.
  • Do not scratch or tear off the treated wart, it should be left alone.
  • Do not put the product in your mouth or near your eyes. After treating the warts on your hands, wash your hands after 5 minutes to avoid any risk of contact of the product with the eyes or mucous membranes. In case of accidental contact with the eyes or mucous membranes, rinse thoroughly with clear water and consult your doctor.
  • For hygienic reasons, the pen should be used by one user only. Do not reuse on other users. At the end of the treatment, the pen must be thrown away.
  • Avoid contact with jewellery, clothing, fabrics or furniture as the pen may damage them.
  • After each use, gel residues may remain in the pen cap, so it is recommended to handle the pen cap carefully when opening or closing it.
  • Keep the treated area clean to avoid infection.
  • Consult a doctor:
  • - If the wart has not disappeared after 4 treatment periods (4 weeks);
  • - If you experience irritation, redness or pain;
  • - If the wart is damaged, bleeds, is red or painful, or if the skin around it is red or painful.
