It is used in the adjunctive treatment of mild sore throats without fever.

Allow tablets to melt slowly in the mouth, taking at least 2 hours apart.
Usual dosage:
Adults and children over 6: 3 to 6 tablets a day, spread evenly throughout the day.

Contraindications
This drug should not be used in children under 6 years of age.
Warnings
In the event of fever, discomfort when swallowing or persistence of symptoms after 5 days, consult your doctor. He or she will be able to tell the difference between pharyngitis and angina. In the case of bacterial angina, antibiotic treatment is necessary to avoid subsequent heart or kidney complications.
Prolonged use of local antiseptic treatments (gargle, mouthwash, lozenge) is not recommended, as it may alter the throat's natural microbial balance.
