Artificial Tears Eye Drops 10 ml

Description:

Its active ingredient is sodium chloride, dosed at 1.400 g per 100 ml of ophthalmic solution.

The other components contained in its formula are disodium acetate, benzalkonium chloride, sodium hydroxide and purified water.

DOSAGE:

The indicated dosage for this eye drop is one drop 3 to 4 times a day, up to 8 times a day if necessary.

In case of overdose, if you use more Martinet Artificial Tears 1.4% than indicated, rinse your eye thoroughly with saline solution, then contact your doctor or pharmacist.

CONTRAINDICATIONS :

The eye drops must not be used in case of allergy/hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of its components

In the event of simultaneous treatment with another eye drop, it is recommended that the instillations be separated by 15 minutes

The presence of benzalkonium chloride in the formula of Martinet Artificial Tears 1.4% may cause eye irritation. It can also discolour soft contact lenses

It is therefore recommended to avoid contact with soft contact lenses. Lenses should be removed beforehand and reinserted at least 15 minutes after application

It is recommended to avoid touching the eye or the eyelids with the tip of the bottle to avoid contaminating it. The bottle should also be properly recapped after use

It is very important to inform your doctor or pharmacist of any other treatment in progress, to avoid the risk of interactions between several drug treatments

The effectiveness of Artificial Tears Martinet 1.4% may be impaired if another eye drop is instilled simultaneously

Under the usual conditions of use, this medicine can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding

Instillation of the eye drops may cause blurred vision for a few minutes, so it is recommended to wait until your vision is optimal before driving or operating machinery.
