Pharmacotherapeutic class
VASCULOPROTECTIVE
This medicine is recommended for disorders of venous circulation in the legs (heavy legs, pain, painful sensations known as "impatience" when going to bed, etc.) and for the treatment of symptoms associated with haemorrhoidal attacks.
2. WHAT IS THE INFORMATION TO KNOW BEFORE TAKING GINKOR FORT, capsule?
List of information needed before taking the medicine

Never take GINKOR FORT, capsule in the following cases:
- Allergy (hypersensitivity to any of the components)
- Hyperthyroidism (thyroid dysfunction)
- Association with certain antidepressants: monoamine oxidase inhibitors or MAOIs (see Taking or using other medicines).

Special Warnings
In hemorrhoidal crisis, the symptoms must regress rapidly.
If there is no improvement after 7 days or if the condition worsens, consult your doctor.
DO NOT LEAVE IN THE REACH OF CHILDREN.
Precautions for use
This treatment is most effective when combined with a healthy lifestyle: avoid exposure to the sun, heat, prolonged standing and excess weight.
Walking for a long time and wearing suitable support stockings will improve venous circulation.
Use this medicine with caution in cases of severe hypertension.

Taking or using other medicines
TO AVOID POSSIBLE INTERACTIONS BETWEEN MEDICINES, ANY OTHER TREATMENT IN PROGRESS, especially if you are taking antidepressants such as MAOIs, SHOULD BE REPORTED TO YOUR DOCTOR OR PHARMACIST.

Dosage
The usual dosage varies according to the indication:
- Venous circulation disorders: 2 capsules per day, one in the morning and one in the evening.
- Haemorrhoidal crisis: 3 to 4 capsules per day, for 7 days, divided during meals.

Oral use.
Frequency of administration
The medicine should be taken with meals.
Duration of treatment
In hemorrhoidal crisis, do not exceed 7 days of treatment (see Take care with GINKOR FORT, capsule).

4. WHAT ARE THE POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS?
Description of side effects
Like all medicines, GINKOR FORT, capsule is likely to have undesirable effects, although not everyone is subject to them.
Very rarely Stomach aches, digestive disorders (nausea or diarrhea), headaches, skin disorders (itching, hives, eczema-like rash).
If you notice any side effects not listed in this leaflet, or if any side effects become serious, please tell your doctor or pharmacist.
5. HOW TO CONSERVE GINKOR FORT, capsule
Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
Do not use GINKOR FORT after the expiry date stated on the box.
No special storage precautions.
If necessary, warnings against certain visible signs of deterioration
Do not dispose of the medicine in the sewage system or in your household waste. Ask your pharmacist what to do with unused medicines. This will help to protect the environment.
