Attention

Pain or anal bleeding that persists despite treatment may be due to a disease other than haemorrhoids and requires medical advice. Similarly, any anal bleeding occurring in a person over 50 years of age should be the subject of a medical consultation.

Fertility, pregnancy and lactation

The effect of this medicine during pregnancy or breastfeeding is not well known. The assessment of the possible risk associated with its use is individual: ask your pharmacist or doctor for advice.

Directions for use and dosage of TITANOREINE

1 or 2 suppositories per day or 1 application of cream, morning and evening and after each bowel movement (not exceeding 4 applications per day).

Treatment should be short term (not more than a few days).

Advice

Chronic constipation and excessive straining are the main triggers for haemorrhoid attacks. A diet rich in dietary fibre (fruit, vegetables, whole grains), plenty of fluids and regular exercise limit the risk.

In the event of an attack, the consumption of alcohol or spicy food can accentuate the pain and discomfort. Particular attention should be paid to cleaning the anal region in order to limit irritation. It is also advisable to limit prolonged sitting positions, which can have an aggravating effect on the pain.

Suppositories should be kept away from heat.
