Application of Polident Fixation Cream
- Clean your appliance and dry it.
- Apply Polident Original Fixative Cream in short strips away from the edges.
- Apply the cream in short strips away from the edges.
- Replace the appliance, holding it firmly in place, and bite down for a few seconds to secure it.
Removing the braces and cleaning with Polident
- Rinse your mouth with water.
- Gently remove the appliance using a back and forth motion.
- Remove any cream residue from your appliance and your mouth with warm water and a soft brush.
- Thoroughly clean the appliance with Polident cleaning tablets every day and rinse it with water.
When using for the first time, start with a small amount of Polident Original cream. Increase the amount if necessary. Too much cream can cause spillage, so decrease the dose if this happens. Finding the right amount may take some time. Use once a day. If you need to apply more frequently, ask your dentist for advice. Keep the cap and tip dry so that the opening does not become blocked. Some people may be allergic to this product. If an allergic reaction or discomfort occurs, discontinue use immediately.
