Thuasne ManuImmo open

Description:

Thanks to a conformable whalebone located at the level of the palm of the hand, this Thuasne orthosis maintains the wrist in an aligned position in relation to the forearm, in order to prevent any subsequent deviation. It also prevents pain from spreading to the whole arm. The whale is also radiolucent, allowing the patient to keep the wrist splint on during an X-ray examination during convalescence. Its inner fabric is lined with an aerated foam which, in addition to the comfort it provides on the skin, ensures optimal ventilation in order to prevent any maceration or heating. Its semi-open structure allows it to be easily installed on the arm and to be adjusted precisely to the patient's morphology thanks to its adjustable straps system. A small velcro tab at the end of the wrist splint allows the palmar rib to be removed and replaced for cleaning or changing in case of damage.

Indications:

• Benign wrist sprains (functional treatment)

Directions for use:

• Open the straps
• Place your hand in the brace
• Close the straps starting with the middle one
• In order to avoid any constriction problem, take care not to tighten the straps too much
