Description Nurofenflash 400 mg Pain and Fever Box of 12 Tablets
Nurofenflash 400 mg is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory: ibuprofen. It can be used in adults and children over 30 kg (about 11 - 12 years) in particular, in case of fever and/or pain such as headaches, flu, dental pain, aches and pains or during painful periods.
Dosage and administration Nurofenflash 400 mg
Suitable for adults and children weighing more than 30 kg (11 - 12 years).
- Painful and/or febrile conditions: The usual dosage is 1 tablet at 400 mg per dose, to be repeated if necessary, without exceeding 3 tablets at 400 mg per day (i.e. 1200 mg per day). The 400 mg tablet is reserved for pain or fever that is more intense or not relieved by a 200 mg ibuprofen tablet. Elderly patients are at increased risk of adverse effects, so use the lowest possible dose for the shortest period of time necessary to relieve symptoms.
Take at least 6 hours apart.
Do not exceed recommended doses or duration of treatment (3 days for fever, 3 days for migraine, 5 days for pain). The maximum dosage is 3 tablets per day (1200 mg).
Pharmaceutical form: Film-coated tablet to be swallowed.
Contraindications:
- Pregnancy,
- Allergy or asthma triggered by Nurofenflash 400 mg or a related drug, including other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs or acetylsalicylic acid (aspirin),
- History of gastrointestinal bleeding or ulcers related to previous NSAID therapy, ongoing gastrointestinal bleeding, brain bleeding or other bleeding,
- Severe liver, kidney or heart disease,
- Systemic lupus erythematosus.
Composition for one film-coated tablet Nurofenflash 400 mg
Ibuprofen 400 mg (as ibuprofen lysinate).
Other components:
- Core: povidone, carboxymethyl sodium starch (type A), magnesium stearate.
- Film coating: hypromellose, talc, OPASPRAY white M-1-7111 B (hypromellose, titanium dioxide (E171)).
- Black printing ink: shellac, black iron oxide (E172), propylene glycol (E1520).
