The patches should be used as part of an immediate stop smoking program.

  1. Apply NICORETTESKIN® to a healthy area of the skin in the morning before showering and remove it at bedtime. Once the patch is applied to the skin, the nicotine crosses the skin barrier before reaching the bloodstream.
  2. Do not apply NICORETTESKIN® to wet skin or use it on irritated skin (skin injury).
  1. Apply immediately after opening to an area where hair is scarce (hips, upper torso or chest).

NICORETTESKIN® is available in 3 dosages:

  1. 25 mg per 16 hours
  2. 15 mg per 16 hours
  3. 10 mg per 16 hours
  4. The average duration of a patch treatment is 3 to 6 months.
  5. Apply NICORETTESKIN® in the morning before showering to an area of skin without dry skin lesions, and where there is little hair growth (hip, upper arm or chest).
  6. Remove NICORETTESKIN® at bedtime (about 16 hours later).
