Description Permixon 160 mg Prostate enlargement 180 capsules
Therapeutic indications
This medication is recommended in the treatment of certain micturition (urine emission) disorders related to hypertrophy (enlargement) of the prostate.
Contraindications
Never take PERMIXON 160 mg, capsule in the following cases: - If you are allergic to the active substance (Florida palmetto extract) or to any of the other components.
Warnings
- Taking this medicine on an empty stomach may sometimes cause nausea. - During your treatment, your doctor will continue to monitor your prostate regularly. Under no circumstances should PERMIXON 160 mg, capsule replace surgery when it is necessary.
Drug Interactions
Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking or have recently taken any other medication, including over-the-counter drugs.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding
This medication is not intended for women.
Directions for use Permixon 160 mg Prostate enlargement 180 capsules
Dosage
For adult men only. The usual dose is 2 capsules per day. Always follow the prescribed dosage.
Mode and route of administration: Oral.
Duration of treatment : The maximum duration of treatment is limited to 6 months.
Symptoms and instructions in case of overdose:
Transient gastrointestinal disorders (abdominal pain) may occur. In case of overdose or accidental ingestion: consult your doctor or pharmacist.
Possible side effects
Like all medicines, PERMIXON 160 mg, capsule is likely to have side effects, although not everyone is subject to them. The following side effects may occur: Common (1 to 10 of every 100 patients): - Headache (headache), - Abdominal pain Uncommon (1 to 10 in 1000 patients): - Nausea - Increased gamma-glutamyltransferases and moderate increases in transaminases (liver enzymes), - Skin rash (eruption on the skin), - Abnormal breast development in men (gynecomastia), reversible upon discontinuation of treatment.
