Biocanina Shampoo for Dogs and Cats 2 Months and Over 200 ml is a shampoo that treats flea, tick and lice infestation in dogs and cats aged 2 months and over.

Directions for use Biocanina Shampoo for Dogs and Cats 2 Months and Over 200 ml
Use approximately 1.5 ml of shampoo per kg of body weight (1.5 mg of tetramethrin per kg corresponds to approximately 25 ml of shampoo for a 15 kg animal.
Wet the animal thoroughly with lukewarm water.
Apply the shampoo to the back and neck, taking care to avoid the eyes.
Rub vigorously, adding water if necessary, to obtain an abundant lather to spread over the animal's body.
Leave on for 5 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.
Repeat twice a week if necessary.
Avoid contact with the animal's eyes or tail.
In case of contact, rinse thoroughly with water.
Do not use other pyrethroid insecticides at the same time.
Do not use on sick or convalescent animals or those with extensive skin lesions.
Use on pregnant or lactating animals only after assessment of the risk/benefit ratio by a veterinarian.
Signs of intoxication: tremors, muscle weakness, hypersecretion, respiratory distress.
If nervous symptoms appear, wash with warm water and soap to remove any remaining product.
If symptoms persist, consult a veterinarian.
Undesirable effects observed in both species: lethargy, ataxia, tremors or even convulsions, vomiting, diarrhea (associated or not with anorexia).
Wash hands after use.
Do not smoke, drink or eat during application.
Avoid contact with eyes, rinse thoroughly with water.
In case of persistent irritation, consult a doctor.
Keep away from food, drink and animal feed.
Keep out of sight and reach of children.
Tetramethrin may be toxic to aquatic organisms. Do not allow dogs to swim in waterways in the days following application.
Empty containers or any leftover product must be disposed of in accordance with current waste management practices.
Due to the toxicity of pyrethroids to fish, avoid contamination of water pionts.
Do not store above 25°C.
