Description EfferalganMed Pediatric Paracetamol 30mg/ml pain and fever

EfferalganMed Pediatric 30mg/ml drinkable solution is a medicine for children from 4 to 32 kg, and prescribed to fight against fever and mild to moderate pain.

EfferalganMed Pediatric 30mg/ml is used for the symptomatic treatment of pain of mild to moderate intensity, or febrile states in children up to 12 years. It is used in particular in case of fevers, headaches, flu or influenza, pain associated with teething, etc..

Presentation of EfferalganMed Pediatric 30mg / ml: bottle of 90 ml or 150 ml, with child-resistant cap and integrated dosing syringe (to use for administration by mouth). The syringe is graduated in kg of the child's weight: at 4 kg, 6 kg, 8 kg, 10 kg, 12 kg, 14 kg and 16 kg, corresponding to an intake of 15 mg of paracetamol / kg of child's weight.

A bottle of 90 ml can administer 180 doses of 15 mg.

Dosage EfferalganMed Pediatric Paracetamol 30mg drinkable solution 90 ml

The recommended daily dose of paracetamol for a child is about 60 mg/kg/day, divided into 4 doses, or about 15 mg/kg every 6 hours.

EfferalganMed Pediatric 30mg/ml should be taken orally only. The solution can be drunk directly from the syringe, or diluted in a small amount of drink to facilitate the intake: milk, fruit juice or water.

Composition:

3 g of Paracetamol for 100 ml

Excipients : macrogol 6000, saccharose solution, sodium saccharin, potassium sorbate, anhydrous citric acid, caramel-vanilla flavour (including propylene glycol E1520, colouring E150d), purified water.

Notable excipients: sucrose (sugar: 0.67 g of sucrose per 4 kg graduation on the dosing system) and propylene glycol E1520 (146 mg of propylene glycol per 100 ml of drinkable solution, equivalent to 3.9 mg/kg/day).
