It is used to disinfect healthy skin and small superficial wounds.

2. WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW BEFORE USING ALCOHOL MODIFIED COOPER, solution for cutaneous application

Contraindications

Never use ALCOHOL MODIFIED COOPER, solution for cutaneous application:

  • - When applied to mucous membranes.
  • - If you are allergic to any of the components, especially tartrazine, particularly in persons allergic to aspirin.
  • - In infants under 30 months and children who have had convulsions due to fever (due to the presence of terpene derivatives: camphor).

Precautions for use; special warnings

Take care with ALCOHOL MODIFIED COOPER, solution for cutaneous application:

Special Warnings

  • - For external use only.
  • - Do not swallow, do not inject.
  • - Alcohol should not be used to perform alcohol tests.
  • - Follow the advice for use:

- never apply more than the recommended dose, (see Dosage section),

- do not apply to a large area of the body,

- respect the frequency and duration of treatment recommended.

Precautions for use

  • - In case of old or recent epilepsy, SEEK ADVICE FROM YOUR DOCTOR.
  • Under the recommended conditions of use, this medicine does not penetrate the skin. However, caution should be exercised in case of repeated use, over a large area, under an occlusive dressing, on injured skin (especially burns).
  • Avoid use near a flame.

Because of possible interference (antagonism, inactivation), the simultaneous or successive use of antiseptics should be avoided.

  • - either by pouring the solution directly onto the area to be treated,
  • - or by using a compress soaked in the solution,
  • - or by applying wet dressings soaked in the solution.

Description of adverse reactions

Like all medicines, ALCOHOL MODIFIED COOPER, solution for cutaneous application, is likely to have undesirable effects, although not everyone is subject to them.

  • - Skin allergy.
  • - Frequent application may cause skin irritation and dryness.
  • - Due to the presence of terpene derivatives (camphor) and if the recommended doses are not respected: possibility of agitation, confusion in elderly people, risk of convulsions in infants and children.

5. HOW TO USE ALCOHOL MODIFIED COOPER, solution for cutaneous application?

Keep out of the reach and sight of children.

Expiry date

Do not use ALCOHOL MODIFIED COOPER, solution for cutaneous application after the expiry date stated on the bottle. The expiry date refers to the last day of the month.

Storage conditions

Close the bottle tightly after use.

Flammable product, keep away from sources of heat.
