Moxydar Drinkable Suspension 30 sachets is indicated for pain, burning or heartburn of the stomach or esophagus and symptomatic treatment of gastro-esophageal reflux disease.
For pain associated with oesophageal disorders, you are advised to take one sachet of antacid medication at the time of pain, with a maximum of 4 sachets per day.
Directions for use Moxydar Drinkable suspension 30 sachets
Dosage Oral use.
- Symptomatic treatment of pain associated with oeso-gastro-duodenal disorders One sachet at the time of painful attacks, up to a maximum of 4 doses per day.
- Symptomatic treatment of gastro-oesophageal reflux disease - In the attack period: 1 sachet after each of the 3 meals and 1 additional sachet in case of pain for 4 to 6 weeks;
Maintenance treatment: 1 sachet at the time of pain

Contraindications:
Magnesium-related: severe renal insufficiency. Hypersensitivity to the active substances or to any of the excipients listed in the Composition section.
Precautions for use
In patients with renal insufficiency or chronic dialysis, take into account the aluminum content (risk of encephalopathy).
Pregnancy and lactation:
There are no reliable data on teratogenesis in animals. Clinically, there are currently no sufficiently relevant data to assess a possible malformative or fetotoxic effect of aluminum or magnesium hydroxides when administered during pregnancy. In view of its low absorption, this drug should be used during pregnancy only if necessary.
Please note the presence of aluminum and magnesium ions, which may affect transit:
- aluminum salts may cause constipation in addition to the classic constipation associated with pregnancy;
- magnesium salts can cause diarrhea. Try to limit the daily dose and, if possible, the duration of use.
Effects on ability to drive and use machines :
MOXYDAR has no or negligible effect on the ability to drive vehicles and use machines.
